Elephant foot will cause issues in the connectors. You also need to have your printer's flow/extruder multiplier calibrated properly. The nozzle should be extruding a perfect 0.4mm string. The walls are calculated to a 0.4mm nozzle. Also be sure your retraction settings are well tuned to have a calibrated priming start, possible issues miss start walls or oozing. Don't rush printing, a minimal z wobble will affect connection.
