About this model
Housing for solar filter film to fit the Skywatcher Skymax 102mm maksutov. Note that this telescope seems to come in two versions - a standard one and one that comes bundled with the 'AZ-Pronto' mount. This filter will not fit the latter as it has a different diameter objective housing. Use Baader Astrosolar safety film or similar. Ensure it is OD5.0 for visual use and you have checked for imperfections and follow safe practice for viewing the sun safely. This is the one I used: Printed in PLA at 100% infill. Cut the safety film to fit, then glue in place (I used super-glue) before inserting the backing-ring. Glue this in place too.
