About this model
The shelf is angled back by 5° to help keep the tapes securely in place and reduce the chance of the holder being accidentally tipped forward or backward. The angled design also makes the tapes easy to see and access while keeping the overall footprint compact. It supports almost all microcassette tapes. Some tapes may fit a little looser than others, such as Maxell tapes. Sony microcassettes, which are the majority of the ones I tested, fit great. Note: My original prototype was slightly different from the final version. Each side could only hold 9 tapes because fitting 10 made them too tight to remove easily. I increased the height by 500 microns (0.5 mm) in the final version, giving you enough clearance to comfortably insert and remove all 10 tapes per section, for a total capacity of 3…
