The Ski Pole Grips is a free printable 3D model from Thingiverse by Dadmakesit. I remixed these from ergonomic bicycle grips and bar end guards on one of the other sites, just mashing them together with some cutting and pasting in Microsoft 3D Builder. You can download the STL file from the original listing below and print it at home.
About this model
I remixed these from ergonomic bicycle grips and bar end guards on one of the other sites, just mashing them together with some cutting and pasting in Microsoft 3D Builder. As such, with all the curved pieces, the triangle count might be getting up there, lol. But, after 20 years of not skiing, I'd like to get back into it and share the sport with my kiddos. I remember from ski patrol days, seeing a few injuries from strappy pole grips, and strapless grips seem rare these days. Maybe there is a reason for the overwhelming switch to strappy poles, but I haven't heard the argument yet. So, I made up some grips for the kiddo's poles, for once I cut them down to size. Since poles seem to be all over the map with thickness, I left the center filled so you can cut out the appropriate sized hole …
