About this model

This is a modified version of the OEM MD701605 part, designed to repair a disintegrated shifter fulcrum without requiring the locator pin to be pressed out of the shift shaft. The replacement is held in place by the tension created as the ball’s inner diameter slips tightly over the shifter shaft. While this is not as mechanically secure as reinstalling the part with the original locator pin, it provides a quick and easy repair option for anyone who does not have access to a press.
