Midea Dehumidifier Drain Adapter - G3/4 BSPP to Garden Hose The drain port on my basement dehumidifier isn't garden hose thread, it only looks like it. It's actually G3/4 BSPP, 26.441mm at 14 TPI. Garden hose is 26.99mm at 11.5 TPI. Close enough in diameter that a garden hose threads on but keeps turning. Since the thread pitch is wrong, it never pulls down against the washer. Garden hose will feel loosely attached but still drips/leaks the whole time the unit runs. So this adapter is a G3/4 BSPP female on one end and a 3/4 GHT male on the other, with a flat seat inside for a regular rubber hose washer. Print it, drop a flat rubber washer in, thread it on to the drip port, and then hook up your hose. Done. --- What Fits My dehumidifier is a Midea MAD35C1ZWS. I worked out the thread sizing …
