About this model
English: Fan mount for the Behringer XR18 mixer. This compact mixer features a fan-style vent opening, but there is no fan inside. Some users open the unit to install one, but that requires tapping into the power supply, which voids the warranty. This solution allows you to mount a standard 40x40x10mm fan externally by sandwiching the mount between the XR18 chassis and the rubber protective cover. I chose a 5V fan powered by a USB charger, but you can use any fan as long as it fits the dimensions. It doesn't need to be particularly powerful; the goal is simply to dissipate the heat accumulating inside the XR18 that cannot escape through natural convection alone.
