About this model

Shopsmith doesn't use a standard 3/4" miter bar. If you have a Shopsmith and want to make custom jigs that use your miter bar slides (like a cross cut sled), then you either need to buy the steel ones from Shopsmith, make your own out of a hardwood like maple, or download and print this design. This rail is perfectly sized to fit in the miter rail and is 9" long so it can be printed on most 3D printers. If you need longer rails, just print two of them. The software I use to create these files defaults to inches, so your slicer may get confused and try to use millimeters. If that happens, just scale up the model by 2540% and it will correct to inches. I highly recommend using PETG and printing at a higher infill (like 45% or so) because this slide will take some abuse on a sled.
