About this model

This project is a compact, low-cost experimental platform developed for initial studies and further development of 3D Binder Jet Printing. The machine was designed from the ground up and built using custom 3D-printed ABS components, a stepper motor, a dedicated stepper motor driver, and an Arduino UNO as the main control board. At the heart of the system is a cylindrical build chamber equipped with a precisely controlled piston. The piston enables accurate, repeatable deposition of successive layers of sand, followed by the controlled application of binder resin to bond the layers together.
