About this model

This model is a vertical stand for the Dell Precision 3280 Compact with an integrated external 2.5-inch HDD/SSD holder. The drive compartment supports 2.5" drives up to 15 mm thick, including high-capacity 4 TB and 5 TB HDDs, together with a SATA-to-USB adapter. The drive remains easily accessible and can be removed without disassembling the computer. The stand includes ventilation openings on several sides to provide natural airflow around the drive. No additional fan is required. Tested temperatures My stand was printed in matte PETG. In everyday use, a 2.5" HDD stays at approximately 39–40 °C while idle. During intensive read/write activity in summer, the highest temperature I observed was approximately 45 °C. The passive ventilation of the stand has therefore been sufficient for my use…
