Dual Phone/Tablet Dash Mount — MagSafe-Compatible Updated 8/23/2026: Modified the ball-joint mounting boss for additional angle clearance. A solid and stable dual phone/tablet dash mount using the magnetic/MagSafe-compatible mounting system from the Onn Car Vent Magnetic Universal Phone Mount. I originally bought the Onn mount because I wanted to use its magnetic phone-mounting system, but the vent mounting location was unstable and poorly positioned in my vehicle. I also wanted a more centralized mounting position that would allow me to use a tablet as a head unit. Onn Mount Parts Required I used the Onn Car Vent Magnetic Universal Phone Mount for the ball-joint hardware and magnetic mounting face.
