About this model
Restringing by hand is a fine way to build forearm strength you'll never use again. This adapter fits over standard tuning peg buttons and takes a 1/4" hex shank, so your cordless drill or power screwdriver does the winding for you. Slot it on, squeeze the trigger, done — a full six-string change takes seconds. Prints in one piece. Cheap enough that leaving one in every gig bag is a reasonable life choice. A word of caution: run your drill on its lowest speed and clutch setting. This is meant to save you time, not help you snap a string or strip a tuner post at 1,200 RPM. Ease off as you approach pitch and finish by hand — tuning is still a human job. Tuning peg buttons vary more than you'd expect, so check the fit against your own set. Remixes welcome.
