About this model
I wanted an improved part cooling fan for my Tronxy X5S that doesn't direct air to the hotend, but to the part instead. But I also wanted to keep the metal enclosure for the hot end, because I think this is a very valuable protection against fire hazard in case somtehing goes wrong with the hotend (like a heater or a thermistor getting loose). I also wanted to keep the original radial fan (type 4010) and not replace this with an regular 40mm fan. As I didn't find anything that fits on thingiverse I decided to design one on my own. This is the result. I don't have much experience with it yet, but I think it will be an improvement. I printed it in PETG, with 70% infill and 3 perimeters.
