The Gearbox 256 / Getriebe 256 is a free printable 3D model from Thingiverse by CONSTRUCTeR. Gearbox 256 / Getriebe 256 I used the parts from "Gearset 1:2 ratio" to build a gearbox, but instead of designing a reduction system, i wanted to go a different way and increase. You can download the STL file from the original listing below and print it at home.
About this model
Gearbox 256 / Getriebe 256 I used the parts from "Gearset 1:2 ratio" to build a gearbox, but instead of designing a reduction system, i wanted to go a different way and increase the outgoing speed. The idea was to create a hand driven box for various tasks which require fast rotation. It's also a test of how much you can increase the speed with 3D-printed gears. As the rotation speed goes up, accuracy and friction become more important. In the attached video, the crank is rotated at 10 rpm while the driven shaft spins at 2,560 rpm. In conclusion, the crank rotation needs a bit too much force. I've just started designing a complete new gearbox for easier usage. / Ich habe die Teile aus "Zahnradsatz 1:2 Übersetzung" verwendet um ein Getriebe zu bauen, aber anstatt ein Reduktionssystem zu kon…
