He trabajado sobre este robot como parte de un proyecto educativo para la enseñanza de Programación en el ámbito de la Ingeniería en Mecatrónica. La elección tuvo en cuenta diferentes factores, como la calidad del diseño original, las dimensiones finales del robot, el software de control disponible y la adaptabilidad de éste último a los contenidos educativos específicos, entre otros. Para cumplir con algunos de los requerimientos del proyecto se han propuesto cambios en la estructura, en la electrónica y en el firmware. Las piezas se basan en el diseño inicial de Florin Tobler ( en otras ideas propuestas por Francis Ng ( Leo Yeung ( y en necesidades propias del proyecto en que será usado el Brazo Robot.
