The light bar gives light just where it's needed and can be swung out of the way if access is needed to print head. It gives good illumination to the bed for taking photos or videos. The LED strip is very cheap , this is the link 5m LED strip 15% off code for lights: 11annvled15% I used 100% infill for the beam 20% for the other parts. 29/08/2017 Longer pivot added to move beam further out allow use of auto leveling. 12/04/18 New pivots added to suit the latest X cover. Longer screws may be needed. I don't have one test it with. Long and short version added.
