About this model
This is a simple dew shield for the Seestar S50 Pro smart telescope. It uses 3 magnets (8mm diameter, 2mm thick) that help hold it in place. The print process has to be paused at the layer just before the holes for the magnet are covered, so you can insert the magnets, then resume the print. Recommended print settings: * Filament: Any kind should be fine - I used PETG. * Color should be black (flat or matte is better) * Supports: Yes - on the build plate only. * Layers: I used 0.15mm * Pause print for magnet insertion (check/verify in your slicer to be sure): * If using 0.15mm layers, pause at layer 57 * If using 0.20mm layers, pause at layer 44 Very Important! - Before inserting the magnets in the print, you must make sure they are correctly oriented so they are attracted to the telescope…
