THIS HAS BEEN REDESIGNED TO BE MORE SCREEN ACCURATE: I'm leaving this design up in case anyone still wants to use it, but recent images from the Guardians of the Galaxy DVD have indicated that the base the orb rests on is not a solid, triangular piece, but instead a three prong design. A display base meant to resemble the electromagnet Star Lord uses in the GOTG movie to capture the Infinity Orb. Basically intended to keep my own Infinity Orb from rolling off a shelf, and looking good as a display piece. :) This was designed to fit the exceptional Infinity Orb that Thingiverse user tonyyoungblood ( has made available, which you can find here: Assembly should be pretty straightforward.
