The Subaru Baja Alternator Belt Cover Grommet is a free printable 3D model from Thingiverse by Save-The-Baja. Noticed there was a fair bit of rust on the alternator / power steering pump belt cover so I went to take it off and found that it was rattling around quite a bit. About this model

Noticed there was a fair bit of rust on the alternator / power steering pump belt cover so I went to take it off and found that it was rattling around quite a bit. Decided to make this to replace the old, now entirely solid grommet and hopefully get the cover to seat nicely again. For the first print, I just made this out of some pretty standard TPU so it's still a bit harder than ideal and it might not fair too well under the hood, but time will tell. One side of the grommet has been made flat so it can be printed in a vertical orientation as removing supports from the small gap could be annoying. (I am aware the band clamp is not properly installed on the hose in the picture. The picture was taken as the power steering pump was being replaced.) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -…
