About this model

If you are a ham radio operator and use an end-fed wire antenna, stop throwing those empty filament reels away. This project allows you to re-purpose them to roll-up and unroll antenna wire without all the tangles and kinks. NOTE: Plastic reels are 5mm different inside hole diameter than cardboard reels … Be sure to check hole dimension against the plug dimension before printing, and size to fit snug. If a little lose, use super glue to hold a reel plug in place. The T-handle should slip through the center hole and be held from slipping back out with a cotter pin or key ring. The handle is held in place with a bolt of appropriate size.
