Summary How much rain the world gets in a year. Every tile stands out from the wall by how much precipitation falls on its area in an average year (CHELSA v2.1, 1981–2010, CC0). Six precipitation bands decide both colour and how far each tile projects: Desert Dry below 150 mm; Semi-arid 150–350 mm; Moderate Rain 350–500 mm; Humid 500–700 mm; Wet 700–1,100 mm; Rainforest Wet from 1,100 mm. Height encodes precipitation band, not elevation. Print settings and assembly - Panel splits into 318 tiles arranged for desktop printing across six print plates. Plate 1–6 3MF files are provided.
