I built it around a lipstick-style USB battery pack and flickering USB tea lights, and each turned into its own problem. First, the battery pack shuts itself off with only one light plugged in; the draw is too low. A USB splitter and a second tea light fixed that, but then I had cable length and clearance issues inside the handle. Second, lipstick battery packs are smooth cylinders, which makes them hard to align and hold in place. That is where the somewhat cumbersome cap and holder design comes from.
