About this model
This is a cover for european electric outlets, also known as SchuKo or F-Type plugs. You put it into the outlet to prevent anybody from putting they fingers or small objects into the electrodes. Use at your own risk! I wanted to make a child safety cover with the following design goals: * Complete coverage of the electric outlet pit, * No other tools than an electrical plug needed, * Twist left and pull to remove, * Minimal filament use, while not sacrificing necessary stability, * Minimal printing time. Since i found no existing designs, that check all goals, I designed a new one. With roughly 4 g material, I achieved printing times in PLA around 18 minutes, while PETG hangs around 40 minutes. * Version 1.1: After request I added a second file without the material saving holes.
