This is a lens cover hood combo. It was made using sketchpunk's "Mechanical Iris" visit,like, and follow his page linked below for assembly instructions of the iris. & PrototypeProfessor's "Nikon 18-55 af Lens hood" you should also visit, like, and follow his page linked below for a video explaining the functionality of the lens hood he created. This design may not support some of the mentioned fish eye effects, but will work on making it fit. This cover and hood combo was designed to fit "Nikon DX AF-S NIKKOR 55-200mm1:4-5.6G ED" lens pictured above. & "Nikon DX AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm1:3.5-5.6G ED" two small screw hole are on the side of the base to allow added security if felt needed.
