About this model
R2D2 foot for the 3d print full size build. Watch out for captive nuts. 8MM bar for the hinge and 3mm bar for the leg bar (used for 2-3-2 to keep the foot stable in upright). As always, I'm building and sharing as I design so please let me know if you face any issues. The Leg rod is also included in these files, a rod which connects the 6mm fixed bar to the foot to ensure it stands upright and moves to the 18 degree position. Please note the end of the rod is attached once it's fitted using 3mm 40mm bolts and captive nuts which need adding as you glue. The rod is critical to stability and should be printed above 90% infill for strength. I printed mine layer .30, 6 shells and 100% infill.
