About this model
This is another special release. Like the Mangonel before this, this model is an open source release supporting Evan Carothers's Oakenspire Kickstarter. At time of publishing, that kickstarter is in it's last 45 hours. This time we have a trebuchet! The model is fully articulated, though if you build yours like I built mine, it will be permanently fixed in the firing position. Like the mangonel, this is based on pictures of recreations, and mathematically the model is in the sweet spot that would maximize the force this trebuchet would be able to apply.
