The Printer Trash Crystal Vase is a free printable 3D model from Thingiverse by switchborg. I wanted a place to drop all the strings, skirts, filament ends, and paper towels resulting from 3D printing work. You can download the STL file from the original listing below and print it at home.
About this model
I wanted a place to drop all the strings, skirts, filament ends, and paper towels resulting from 3D printing work. I also wanted to try designing a vase-mode print. The narrowed neck is intended to prevent fluffy stringy stuff from coming back out easily. The OpenSCAD file has a separate module for constructing faceted vases given polar coordinates of the vertices, so hopefully that can be reused for vases in the same style but different shapes. The last picture is of the 25% scale test prints. Might be a good small parts container?
