About this model
So I wanted to try out the articulating design. Keeping with the spring theme I went ahead and used a caterpillar as my model. He turned out pretty good for my first crack at it. I recommend using a brim big enough to connect all his feet as they are pretty small. 6mm worked for me. 3.28.18 I created a second version noted with EZR. It has less of a pitch on the feet to help with warping and I connected the feet to reduce those being easily knocked off in first few layers.. This version should also articulate even farther. I also added a small return under his head as there was a small area for a couple layers that just drooped there. Also created a shorter version for those with smaller print beds and a long version for those with larger beds. Short version 5" long. Long version 9" long a…
