About this model
This is my first custom made 3D Printer. I am not an engineer by any means rather only a tinkerer/maker, and this was a project to learn and have fun in doing so as a hobby. In the end I am very happy with the result though, hence the reason I am sharing this with everyone, otherwise I wouldn't. "This is an HBot, not a CoreXY. Why?" While I completely understand the theoretical advantages of CoreXY over HBot, I did try both HBot and CoreXY configs to see for myself (in this same machine) and there was practically no difference at all in printing accuracy and quality after many hours of printing. Thus I decided to keep the HBot setup for simplicity even though I already have parts printed for the CoreXY setup as well (which if people are interested I can share too as an alternative version)…
