About this model
Stiffening the frame reduces print artifacts on bed slingers (see picture). I didn't have the bandwidth to design something from scratch and everything online was too complex until I tripped over Joe Prochazka's z-axis brace (link below). Remixed it to fit my setup: (Ender 3 v2) - Tilted the installation angle from 45° to 60°. - Added cutouts to the channel-ribs so that shouldered v-slot nuts can tighten against the extrusion; the original works fine with flat t-slot nuts. - Changed cross section from 14x20mm to 20x20mm to match the extrusions and increase strength - printed in black, it blends completely into the machine.
