About this model
Rey's new lightsaber! This design features a simple mechanism in the top that allows you to rotate the Activation Gear and raise up the Emitter Teeth on top. In order to get the mechanism working, everything needs to be tightly glued together and the Upper Rotator may need something to help it grip the sides to always rise up. I've made some modifications similar to UnimatrixRed's fantastic re-mix to help with the mechanism. I've included 2 versions of the grip: one with a sculpted cloth wrap and one that is naked, so you can make a real cloth wrapping if that's your thing. Personally I printed the Upper Emitter, Upper Chamber and Wrapped Grip with supports generated in Cura. All of the STLs are in the orientation I printed them. Happy Printing!
