About this model
DeWalt powered 12v adapter. I've been meaning to build this for a while to power a 12v blower that I use to inflate an air mattress. Now I won't have to be near a vehicle to inflate/deflate the mattress when camping. Dewalt battery adapter from Thingiverse #2723049 ( The rest of the enclosure was modeled in Inventor. The DC-DC converter is a bit overkill, but all I had was a 2A module and a 20A module. The blower draws 4.2A so I went with the larger one. There is a 5A fuse on the battery side of the converter for protecting the battery. The C rate on DeWalt packs is fairly high but better safe than sorry. The downside to this design is the lack of under-voltage protection.
