This is a grommet that holds the rod, that holds up your hood, on many (if not all) Hondas. (Confirmed for 1998 Accord, and 2008 Fit) When I bought my first car used, the plastic grommet that came with it from the factory was already broken. I finally got tired of having to mess with the rod to make sure it wouldn't slip out of the hole, that I decided to just make a new grommet out of flexible filament. A replacement grommet would've been about 8 bucks, and a few days Amazon shipping.. Or a 10-minute design, then 20 minute print.
