The official Creality all metal extruder upgrade (Pictured) sits slightly wider than the stock plastic Ender 5 plus extruder and as such the filament exiting from the filament runout sensor does not align with the new metal extruder. I made a simple 1.8mm thick spacer to better align the filament and avoid any undue strain, tension or rubbing. You can reuse the stock screws, they are long enough.
