Space agencies have released thousands of 3D models to the public, and makers print them at home: rovers, landers, rockets, satellites, and planet models straight from NASA and community archives. They are a favorite for classrooms, desks, and display shelves.

Spacecraft models often have fine antennas and struts, so print at 0.12 mm with careful supports, or scale up for a sturdier desk piece. Matte filaments read best for realistic spacecraft finishes.
