In Blender, converted gate image from SVG to extruded model, modified cylinder into coaster size with outer lip, and joined the two at 2 print layers worth of intercept. For the two color print, in my slicer I determined the layer where the gate design begins printing, added a pause into my print code at that layer and swapped the filament from black to green.
