About this model
A remix of the great aviation inspired lamp by Dan3088 and integrating it with a revised lamp shade from Vasilyd. I updated this with a V3 Lampshade. Vasilyd included a CAD file which I used to add fillets to make the transitions smoother. The lamp measures 291mm high which is decent, but if you want a larger lamp, you will need to scale it. I would scale to 420mm tall. I added rivet details and some of the other humps that were missing from the new lamp shade to make it match more closely with the original lamp. Split the main body to reduce post print finishing. Simply glue the detail halves to the main body and then paint. Added the LED Strip holder. Simply glue your LED strip to the holder and it should pop right in. Glue as needed. You may want to make a light diffuser for the LEDs..
