About this model
Made this earring holder to display the 3D printed earrings that I have made, and make it easier to photograph them. Stem design inspired by hex keys and the base carries on the same hexagon shape. The size of the slot on the base has been increased by 3% to account for tolerancing and ensuring that post-processing is not necessary to make the stem fit into the base. Iterations will be made to incorporate an LED and battery in the base.
