About this model
These are lithophane planets with a disco Sun which can be used as Christmas baubles or as an ornament elsewhere. These have been modelled with a threaded opening at one end which can screw into either a hook or inline mount. These mounts are designed to attach a high power adafruit 3W neopixel to the bauble to illuminate it internally. The star has space for a strip of flexible neopixels internally so can be lit up too. There is space in the star for either a pi zero or microcontroller of similar size. This saves housing the driver at the plug end. Code for a PI can be found here: Note: The code animates between the colours on the planet surface and flashes if the planets are overhead at night.
