About this model
This is a remix of the Flexy Hand 2 that introduces interchangeable fingers to allow the user to customize the appearance of their device. Modifications were made to all finger pieces and the palm so that the fingers can slide off and on without the need to restring the device. All other parts are imported directly from the Flexy Hand 2 Thingiverse page. Two main changes were made to the original design. First, slots were added to each finger piece to allow the strings to slide in and out of the channels as needed. Also, a ball and socket system were implemented to secure the strings in the fingertips in place of the previous method of tying the strings in permanent knots.
