About this model
I designed these custom fitted bannister adapters for our baby gates. I padded the inner perimeter by 2mm in order to add some foam to prevent scuffing the wood. The square portion of my bannisters measure 83mm x 83mm. You might have to tweak those dimensions to fit yours. I used 40mm M5 screws as external fasteners, and 40mm M4 screws to secure the wood slat to the adapter. The piece the wood slat connects to has a recessed indentation that fits an M4 nut. I recommend printing them individually, on their sides. I only needed supports on the underside of the hole curves. Four prints took two eight-hour printing days. Hope you find it useful.
