This is a simple drop-on cap for welding gas cylinders (argon, C25, etc) with 5-point knobs. It provides a simple visual indication of whether the valve was last turned clockwise or counterclockwise. demo: Apply bright paint, reflective tape, nail polish or whatever to the grooves on the inner piece as indicators. Use a wood screw with washer inside to keep the halves together. You may wish to add a ring of cloth, felt or something between the two pieces to provide a small amount of friction so it holds position if inadvertently nudged.
