About this model
This is a tourbillon desk toy that I designed and 3d printed. It uses the internal spring from a retractable badge reel as the mainspring, and can run for around four and a half minutes. Video (with assembly): WARNING: I designed this with tolerances specifically for my own 3d printer and filament. The mechanism is a bit finnicky; if you're looking for something that prints and works out-of-the-box, I would recommend trying other tourbillon models that have been tested and iterated on for different printers. Hopefully this is still useful as a reference though!
