About this model
The original design was too small for the massive Costco paper towel rolls. For a roll to fit, the roll holders ("arms") need to be larger. Scaling the parts larger within your slicer of choice causes a problem with the cork pieces ("inserts") that go into the roll as it makes the diameter of the fins too large for the roll. I took the scaled up pieces and trimmed down the fins to maintain the 41mm size needed for the roll. Within your slicer of choice, scale the roll holders ("arms") and the axis pieces ("plugs") to 110%, then use these cork pieces ("inserts") which as mentioned above are scaled up while maintaining the proper size to fit into the paper towel roll. The Costco rolls were a snug fit for the first 10 or so paper towels on my store-bought holder and so I chose the 110% scale …
