About this model
This is a simplified hand-operated version of our ‘Piston’ gadget. Pushing down on the piston raises the marbles to the top of the maze so they can drift gently down. This model comes in two parts which should be printed separately and then easily assembled. You will need about 5 or 6 8mm steel ball bearings. You will also need a small spring, such as one from a ball-point 'click' pen. Depending on your 3D printer you may need a pair of tweezers and some sandpaper to clean the track. We've included detailed print and assembly instructions (see the pdf in 'files'). If you have any questions / comments feel free to email us at info@gualalagadget.com.
