About this model
I often had problems with replacing the filament (filament leftover in the extruder) and I was tired of always disassembling the fan so I decided to make the fan movable. My modification is a kind of hinge. One half is attached to the extruder with two 3x25mm screws. The other half is screwed together with two 3x30mm screws and two 3mm nuts. ATTENTION: It's important to sink in the holes of the aluminium block to make the screws flush with the block. Additionally I use the Anet A8 Extruder Fan Spacer by AZDawg ( which I customized so the fan sits flush on the aluminium block. Both parts are screwd together with one 3x40mm screws and two 3mm nuts.
