About this model
Replacement dividers for the Harbor Freight Portable Storage Case ( Uses 17" lengths of 1/2" dowel or PVC pipe to hold spools of wire in an easy-to-transport, easy-to-store package. Spacing is a little tight, but small 55mm diameter spools should fit quite nicely; larger ones often collide with the lid. I designed the inserts to work with my parametric wire spools; two rows of the "small" size can fit in the Harbor Freight Case. (see An OpenSCAD file is included to customize the dividers; if you're doing something other than mounting rods, it might be a convenient starting place for. It relies on the BOSL2 library to generate the mesh; see for details. TODO: More print-friendly mesh fill, some tab or labeling system to make wire gauges more visible in the box.
