About this model

I created this lamp to make use of cheap RGB LED strips. The main model has been tailored to fit this Amazon listing. More information about the LEDs, the model, instructions, and pictures can all be found in the appropriate section below. (Before printing anything, please see the instructions!) EDIT 3/14/2019: There were some concerns about the plastic core overheating from having all the LEDs in a tight area, especially with PLA. I've uploaded modified pieces that allow for a core of 1/4'' (6.35 mm) dowel rods to be used instead. There is also a hole in this cap that lets warm air escape out of the top of this lamp.
