About this model
Adapter to a 3/4" ID hose to convert a cartridge respirator to fresh air. Hose: McMaster 5475K41 There's a belt clip with a print support in there for this hose. Mask: 3M 6800 series and others, including 1/3-price knockoffs. Remove the inner mouth piece. It just pulls off and is there to keep the mask from fogging up but when supplied with fresh air, it's not needed. Blower: I used a 12v Coleman "Quickpump" (the red one) air bed pump running at 7v from a DC supply. The adapter parts are here. For additional ducting, I used 1.25" drain hose, which is like $5 for 20 feet at a home improvement store.
