This is a MOD adding a 30mm horizontal SHIFT movement to Edgar Kech's wonderful camera. Check the 4X5 Scalable Field Camera ( it's a REMIXED WORK from the source above You can print and test it basically without scraping any important parts you already made. Basically you will have to take out and reprint: - front standard, - the two pulling levers (one has to be x or y mirrored) - the slider (not mandatory) and to print the new - front standard shift. You can print the F_tripodbase_2 from and add a 25mm long flat head (conic) M5x25+ an M5 nut to have a nice retain and friction effect. What you gain, and what you lose: - First of all, you gain a 30mm shift in both directions. - You gain a 30g weight - You lose 7mm of vertical shift ("fall").
